Abortion
Abortion is murder. The people opposed to abortion strongly believe that abortion takes away the right to live. It is morally wrong. Others that are for abortion argue that the statement is just a religious belief. Pro-abortionists consider it the women’s choice. Abortion is terminating the pregnancy in my eyes but, Anti-abortionist see it as slaughtering a baby. Stopping a women’s pregnancy is destroying the embryo. They believe that the fetus is a separate human being. With that being said the pro abortionist say the fetus is a not dependent on its mother until it is born.
Well what do I think? In my opinion abortion is morally and ethically wrong. Most women put there self in the position to get pregnant. We all know what to do to prevent a baby from happening. If a woman or man cannot afford birth control or any contraceptives they shouldn’t be having sex because obviously they cannot afford a baby, considering a child can cost anywhere from 15,000-20,000 dollars to raise. Abortion should not be used as another form of contraception. There are other solutions when getting pregnant other than abortion if the baby is better off without the mother such as; adoption, foster care or even family members.
Other cases such as rape or unwanted intimacy, proper medical care can ensure that a woman will not get pregnant. Abortion punishes an unborn child who committed no crime; instead, it is the perpetrator who should be punished. Unfortunately the child suffers either way. If a parent has the child and does not want the child they will be neglected but if they do not have the child it is murder. Those who choose abortions are often minors or young women with insufficient life experience to understand fully what they are doing. Many have lifelong regrets afterwards.
