Barack Hussein Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on August 4, 1961. Obama was mixed, his mother was American, Stanle Ann Dunham, and his father was Kenyan, Barack Obama Sr.. His parents got divorced three years after they were married. Obama’s mother got remarried and moved to Indonesia. Then his mother sent him to live with his grandparents in Hawaii. He only saw his father once before his father died in a car accident in 1982.In 1979 Obama graduate with academic honors at Punahou Academy. Obama studied at Occidental College in Los Angeles for two years. He then transferred to Columbia University in New York, graduating in 1983 with a degree in political science there, he worked on the South Side as a community organizer for low-income. Obama is a encouraging and lively person who usually has an energizing, inspirational, and refreshing effect on others.
Barack Obama has many strengths and weaknesses. One of his biggest strengths personally is his public speaking. Obama speeches make the listeners feel like they are listening to someone who is clever, well-educated and intelligent, and it makes the people appreciate that they are in the presence of a great leader. Obama’s confidence is partly why he was elected president of the United States. He also unites people across national and international borders. Which also shows how caring he toward everyone. He is also kind of moderate which is a good strength for the election.
