Below is an essay on "Believe?" from Anti Essays, your source for research papers, essays, and term paper examples.

I do not believe in Gandhi’s quote “When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love has always won. There have been tyrants and murderers and for a time they seem invincible but in the end, they always fall -- think of it, ALWAYS.”
I do not believe in this because there are times in life when evil triumphs over good for example; an innocent person can be put into jail under false charges simply because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time and the true criminal can still be out and free to run amuck.
An example in history and even today would be poverty; the rich vs. the poor the people who have everything and more, never think to give it to those who need it, some people might not see it but Greed is one of the Seven Deadly Sins, but there have also been cases of Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Wrath, Pride, and Sloth each of these are an evil no matter how little.
An example in my life would be that my sister would do something wrong or break something and I would get blamed for it even if I wasn’t in the room. The one main reason that I do not believe in this quote is simply because people will always believe what they want to believe even if it is wrong or sometimes even if it means hurting somebody we love. Good does not always win, but yet at the same time neither does Evil.
