It's funny how things happen some times. For instance when some one is down on their luck and they happen to come across some extra money right when they needed most. Or the whole one door closes and one opens theory, you find yourself out of a job and another one falls into your lap. When life can't seem to turn around a fortune cookie gives you the inspiration you have been looking for. It's funny how these things happen. No matter who you are you have to know that everything in life comes about from some higher power; God, the universe, karma. Things happen because it was planned or it was reactionary from a previous action. So is it by haphazard that these little things happen? Should one depend on a door opening after slamming one shut? Should one wait for the words from a cookie to turn their life around? Life is anything but predictable. Events can be predicted but the meat of life is left a mystery. Back to this higher power, they, it, got to their position for a reason, right? Their level of thinking surpasses anything we could ever rap our minds around. Once we believe that we have things worked out and we know what is going one, the power throws us a curve ball. It never seems to develop a definite pattern. One could call the little things chaotic. The Butterfly Effect, which relates closely to the Chaos Theory, states:

The flapping of a single butterfly's wing today produces a tiny change in the state of the atmosphere. Over a period of time, what the atmosphere actually does diverges from what it would have done. So, in a month's time, a tornado that would have devastated the Indonesian coast doesn't happen. Or maybe one that wasn't going to happen, does. (Ian Stewart, Does God Play Dice?
