1. Introduction of Company Dell Inc. (DELL) is a global technology company which designs, develops, manufactures, markets, sells, and supports a range of products. Its product categories include mobility products, desktop personal computers (PCs), software and peripherals, servers and networking, and services. As a PC manufacturer, Dell has several product lines that target different market segments. The XPS, Alienware, and Inspiron product lines are focused on PC with different features, while Latitude and Vostro line are designed to help business, government, and institutional customers. Dell is also a leader in peripheral and software business. The Company offers Dellbranded printers and displays and sells a range of third-party software products, including operating systems, business and office applications, anti-virus and related security software, entertainment software, and products in various other categories. In order to satisfy the need of fast-server and networking software, PowerEdge line of servers is designed to offer customers performance, reliability and scalability. Dell’s global business also includes information technology services, especially in consulting services which help customers to evaluate, design, and implement standards-based IT infrastructures.
