It is to show you what you will end up going if you continue the act of drinking and driving. Being in jail can cause a lot of hearsay amongst friends,but with family it will bring shame. With going to jail also, follows more fines then just the ticket for the DUII. You have to pay for room and board; it is never cheap and that also will haunt you for a while just as the probation will.
The second step after going to jail is probation. Probation is another form of jail, the difference is that you have more independence than being behind the bar doors. It can cause a lot of ache in the future If you have another incident while on probation the consequence may be a little harder on you then normally not having a DUII. Probation is an inner tube on the water. If an accident happens out in the water, it will consume you.
The worst and most important of all is your independence. If you are reliable on motor mechanical transportation, you can kiss that good bye. That of all the consequences is most likely the worst part. You have to ask friends for a ride, walk in the cold weather or wait freezing to death it at the bus stop. It may not sound that bad at first, but if you put yourself in the position, it can rough.
