Dear Mr. McKenzie:
Subject: F24Z Illuminators
It is my understanding that there are a number of issues with the Illuminators that you purchased from my company; eye strain, the light malfunctioning, technicians not doing their jobs correctly, and possibly even faulty equipment. In addition to that you are experiencing downtime delays and missed deadlines. First and foremost let me apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you.
I will immediately have someone come out and install new illuminators at your convenience, with the hope that this fully remedies the problem. In addition I will refund you 10% of your purchase price for the hassle this has caused your business. Once the new illuminators are in, I can have my staff examine the originals and look for malfunctions that are beyond repair, and also determine if this is a one-time issue or if we have a batch of faulty equipment. There will also be new training put into place for our technicians should the examination of the old equipment show that the problem was fixable.
Again I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and expenses that the equipment has caused you. Please contact me at your earliest convenience so that we may set up an appointment for new equipment to be installed, my staff can examine the faulty equipment, and so that I can personally deliver your partial refund to you. I look forward to speaking with you regarding these matters at your earliest convenience.
