From religious views and non-religious, code of ethics from medical professionals’ opinions comes into play. Neither nurses nor doctors should purposefully cause another human beings death. Legalizing euthanasia would be like giving a person a “get out of jail free” card, making some serial killers with permission. Making humans responsible for approving death by voluntary euthanasia “when the person is killed has requested to be killed putting them out of their misery” (euthanasia.com) is not okay. There are more negatives to euthanasia than positives proven by, medial technology to keep people alive and sustain quality of life, miraculous awakenings and recoveries, and the after effects of the persons death, it is immoral in all aspects for this to be another humans decision to take another life on a legal basis.
