Everybody has different personality and manners to handle their life. We have a lot of choices since we live in a diverse world. Sometimes we like to imitate what older persons do, that’s how we learn to talk, to eat, to walk, but as you get older you discover what you like and what you don’t like. There are persons who follow the crowd just to fit in society, other persons like try new things and do what they believe is right.my personal believe is that we should strike out a balance between these two major aspects of human life.
We are always supposed to follow social rules and listen to other people’s ideas because we are part of community. Since we are little, our parents and school put us rules to follow. They let you know what are going to be the consequences, if you don’t follow them. Every single school has their own set of rules, for example dress code it’s a voluminous rule that most schools expect from students, because the way students dress can be a distraction to other students. Another important thing is being responsible, and school has a huge impact in forming responsible students, because they require them being on time in class and turning in projects on the due date. In other words being a good student leads you to be a good professional worker. I remember one time that I forgot my physics project at home. My team was extremely mad, because the teacher gave us a cero. I learned that other people depend on me and I have to be responsible.
However, creativity and independent thinking can sometimes more important than following rules in our efforts to achieve social progress. Thomas Alva Edison was a guy with a lot of creativity. He was the inventor of the light-bulb, and that was not the only thing he did. He discovered how to produce current of electricity and to send it to homes and factories.
