As we all know homosexuals are people who are attracted to the same sex. Homosexuals should have the same rights as heterosexuals. They are mistreated all over the world and they should not be rejected by society. They should be left alone and people should judge them on their character and not their sexual preference. It is not their fault how they feel. Many gays are bullied and seen in a different way. It is as if they have a disease or something that people do not want to be around them because they might get infected.   There is an official gay right movement called “The American Gays Right Movement.”   This is taking place in the U.S.A.   Being gay is against the Catholic religion and many others. This is because God created us to love our opposite sex not the ones with the same sex, but we are all children of God and supposed to love each other no matter what.   In fact there are many countries in Europe that have legalized gay marriages for example Sweden, Norway, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal and Iceland.

Being homosexual means having a sexual attraction to persons of the same sex. If you are a man and have sexual attractions to a man you are called a gay, but if you are a woman and sexually attracted to other women you are called a lesbian. These are just terms or words people use to differentiate man from woman who are sexually attracted to their same sex. Gays or lesbians don’t have the same rights as straights do in many countries or states in the U.S.A; they are not allowed to get married.   In these cases the government is violating individual freedoms that are in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which gives everyone the right to privacy and to have a family, without any interference based on race, nationality, religion, or sexual orientation.   In the U.S, it’s legal for single gay people to adopt a child; but for gay couples it is illegal to adopt children.
