Global warming has become a major concern over the last century. The world is much hotter now than the past. Many reasons are to blame for this global temperature increase such as fossil fuels releasing C02 emissions. C02 emissions are released from coal, oil, and natural gas burning. Coal, natural gas, and oil are burned for energy in many ways such as cars and power plants. Forest burning for deforestation also causes C02 emissions. C02 emissions are harmful to the planet and cause the planet to heat up. Global warming causes worse weather conditions in the world amongst other issues. With so many issues that can arise with a hotter Earth, I believe this to be a major issue that needs to be addressed.
I believe that every individual has the moral responsibility of maintaining the planet. Many beings share this planet and I do not believe the Earth is ours to ruin. All humans owe it to the Earth to take care of it as it takes care of us. Every individual can make changes to help with the global warming process. Some of these changes can be the vehicle an individual drives or how far the individual drives his or her vehicle. Using less electricity and natural gas is another change that many people can afford to make.
Many changes that need to take place are bigger than just one individual. As a society and population, we need to hold each other accountable and stop things from being allowed that affect the Earth in a negative manner. Individuals need to hold the government and businesses accountable. Many corporations use massive amounts of energy to make a variety of products used by many every day. As a population we can find smarter and safer ways to provide energy such as solar and wind power. If more people fight to force the government to make wiser energy decisions we can turn around global warming.
Many communities are surrounded by nuclear energy plants...
