        ”An Inconvenient Truth” is a documentary movie about campaign to educate people
about global warming. The movie is about global warming, the most important environmental
issue of our time. Al Gore traveled around the world to show   his movie and send the global
warming message. He talked about   the scientific facts behind global warming, and how it has
already begun to affect our environment, he talks about the disastrous consequences if the
world's governments and citizens do not act, and tells what each person can do to help
protect the Earth for next generations. One of the concerns of global warming is melting of
glaciers and how it will effect ocean water. The message is clear, global warming is a major
threat for next generations.
        The article “Has the Meltdown Begun?” by Michael Lemonic published in Time discusses
about discovery that Greenland’s glaciers are melting faster than it was predicted. They also
discovered that glaciers are moving into open water. Scientists are concerned by the effects of
global warming on Greenland’s glaciers, and the pace of rising ocean levels. They are also
concerned about the effect of glaciers freshwater that is melting, and how it will effect salinity of
the ocean. If it comes to reduce in salinity, it could bring a change of surface of water, and
prevent it from sinking as it cools and return to south to replenish ocean currents. Another
concern of glaciers meltdown are North and South poles, where ice sheets are shrinking and
polar caps may begin to absorb the sun’s energy instead of reflecting it.
          Moreover, article “Signs of Climate Change” by Richard Hilderman published in the
Mother Earth News discusses about climate change and challenges that we are facing, and
