How to Fight Against the Bulling
Bullying is a big problem, because it can make kids feel hurt, scared, sick, lonely, embarrassed and sad. A bully can say things about someone, take someone stuff, make fun of someone, or leave a kid out of the group on purpose. Bullying can make kids not want to play outside or go to school, since it's hard to keep your mind on schoolwork when you are worried about how you are going to deal with the bully near of your.
First of all, you have to talk to your child to find out who the bully is and what he or she has doing to your child. This may be difficult and so hard to hear, because most kids are ashamed to let their parents know what things have done to them. Although it is too difficult you must know all the details. After that the same day or the next morning go to the school and talk to the highest person there, probably the principal, and let him or her, what the situation is and all the troubles that the kid is going through.
Although I am against violence, sometimes bullies need a taste of their own medicine. When my sister was fourteen years old, she faced her first potential bully. All this ended after she stood up to him and spit a mouthful of ice in her face. Since then she has used similar methods to defend loved ones or herself. These methods sometimes are necessary for stop the bulling.
A second thing, is that parents must do is let the kid know what a bully is and what they do. They must know that Bullying is when a person is picked on over and over again by an individual or group with more power, and this can be in terms of physical strength or social form. Two of the main reasons people are bullied are because of appearance and social status. Bullies pick on the people they think don't fit, because of how they look, or how they act. For example, kids who are shy, their race or religion, gays or lesbians.
