For my informational interview assignment I have chosen the Golden 1 Credit Union. The Golden 1 Credit Union is California's leading financial cooperative, and the seventh largest credit union in the U.S. with now more than $8 billion in assets and over 600,000 members/customers spread across eighty four branches from as far north as Redding and as far south as El Centro, east of San Diego.
The Golden 1 employs over a thousand individuals’ total, over 100 of which work at the corporate facility here in Sacramento, right off of Watt Avenue and Highway 50. The individual I spoke to is Ronnie Cobb, Talent Officer for California. Ronnie is the lead in hiring processes for California’s eighty four branch locations and corporate headquarters, which also includes recruiting a diverse multi-cultural team. Ronnie may be contacted via e-mail at: email@example.com or by phone at: (916) 732-2754.
