Many reasons in life come very unexpectedly and we eagerly need to find ways to fix these situations we come across. There are many emotional ups and downs in a person's journey of life, just like an unstoppable roller coaster. As humans, I learned to overcome these lifelong hurdles thrown at us in the face to make us a more powerful person inside and on the outside. I can vouch that I have met many friends, overcome obstacles, and even had plenty of death already in my 28 years of living, but they do happen for a reason in a person's life.
First, we run across people each and every day, but there is only a handful that we get attached to and can call friends. It is either from a simple hi to a big old fashioned hand shake. As for me, I met my best friend Ricardo just with a simple “hi” one day. This “hi” turned into a “hello,” and then to a "you want to come over?" From there, our friendship took off like a hot air balloon. I always dreamt of furthering my life with an education but struggled and could never get that motivation to do so. He taught me how to sign up for financial aid, also the ins and outs of the school system and how to become familiar with all the responsibility of doing school work outside of school. With his help, I was able to make a difference in my life and to carry that same effect he had on me to another individual who needed that push. To this day, if I have a question about anything, he knows exactly what I need to do, if it is just courage, strength or just that somebody I need to talk to he is here for me. I do believe he was put on my path in life to push me forward to further my dreams for my future. Although making friends is important, there are other life – changing events that sometimes have to happen.
Next, when I or anyone personally looks back at their life they can think about one, two, three or however many obstacles...
