The four hotels I chose to compare are four hotels found in Boston, MA. They are all luxury hotels and would all classify as very nice hotels. The following information is for a one night stay for 2 adults. The first hotel I looked at was The Liberty Hotel. Prices range from $383 a night all the way up to $1,038 a night just depending on what type of room you would like. The room that is $1,038 a night is the Guilty Pleasure Suite. This room includes breakfast for two in the hotel, champagne, chocolate dipped strawberries, extended late check-out, a view of the city and much more. There are 300 guest rooms total and 10 suites. All rooms include high speed internet, luxurious bath robes, private bars, in room safes, flat screen televisions, two VOIP telephones, and body care products. Guest services include full concierge services, valet parking ($42 daily rate applies), 24-hour private dining, same day dry cleaning and laundry valet, evening turndown service, 24-hour health and fitness center, business center, overnight shoe shine service and they are pet friendly! The Liberty Hotel is home to three of Boston’s best restaurants: CLINK, Alibi, and Chef Lydia’s Shire’s Scampo.
The next hotel I looked at was the Ritz Carlton, another luxury hotel. Prices per night ranged from $475 to $6000. The suite that was $6000 a night is the Presidential Suite. It includes lounge access, complimentary food, complimentary cocktails, business services, garment pressing, local calls, access to the Sports Club, and high speed internet access. It is 1680 sq. ft., air conditioned, basically anything you could ever ask for would be found in this room. This hotel has 193 guest rooms including 43 suites. It was two dining establishments, beautiful views of Boston, it is pet friendly and has been rated one of the top 50 hotels in the USA in 2009.
