The Obesity of America
Do most people know that one in four people eat at a fast food each day restaurant? Obesity is caused by the many little things Americans eat throughout the day and it effects the growth of obesity throughout America. Eating fast food is becoming a problem in most of America with the struggle of obesity and eating healthy.
When most people are on the go and grab a bite to eat what are they chances it’s a fast food restaurant? For instance fast food is cheaper than a home cooked meal which makes people buy it more often than making a healthier meal at home.   When the food is cheaper than a homemade meal it also sucks in more people thinking they are getting a good deal eating out a couple nights a week. Another thing that people consider good about fast food is the delicious taste but do they really know what is all in the food like the types of fats and oils and what type of meat is in the meal. The advertising companies give people fallacy in their advertisement about how healthy the actual food is when it’s the complete opposite. Fast food advertisement is continually seen by teenagers due to the companies always advertising to younger children and teenagers making them want to go there with parents. When teenagers see this they think it’s alright to eat fast food whenever they want because advertisement is always there for them to see the food which causes them to eat fast food way to much which puts them on the road to being obese later in life. Most Americans are topical of fast food because it’s always around them every day and feel pressured into eating it and non junk food is not around them like it use to be.   More importantly fast food restaurants trick you into thinking you are getting a rational serving size of food in their meals when people are actually getting.
