The Radiation of the earthquake disaster in 2011 had real big effects in the surrounding area. Up to four times the amount of Radiations was found in the area although it is still within the government limits. Also the radioactivity in tap water is to have been found at a level which is harmful to long term infants. The information found on this website isn’t backed up by expert opinions. On this source there is a lot of focus on the radio activity that may have effected food and water which may be harmful to people. Up to 27 times the limit of radio activity has been found in spinach. The Japanese Government have stated that the radiation limit is far below rates to cause human death. Mr Edano said: "Even if you eat and drink them several times it will not be a health hazard. So I would like you to act calmly without reacting." A lot of the statements and advice has been backed up back expert opinion and advice.
