My Favorite TV Show
In June of 2010, the first season of Pretty Little Liars was aired on ABC Family. Pretty Little Liars was originally a book written by Sara Shepard. I am a big fan of the books, but an even bigger fan of the TV series. Pretty Little Liars is about a group of five girls whose clique falls apart after the death of Alison DiLaurentis, their “queen bee”, but reunite a year later. The story line, suspense, and theme all drew me to loving this show. I definitely recommend Pretty Little Liars to everyone who is looking for a show that will keep them on their toes.
Pretty Little Liars is set in the fictional town of Rosewood, Pennsylvania. The series is about a group of five girls who were the best of friends. One night during a sleepover, the leader of the group, Alison, disappeared and was killed. Everyone in Rosewood thought the other girls were to blame, but they actually had no idea what had happened to her. A year after the incident, the remaining four girls began receiving messages from a mysterious figure known as "A" who threatened to expose all their secrets. This brings the girls back together again as best friends. I was obsessed with Pretty Little Liars from the first episode. I loved the way the director was able to bring the book to life in a TV show and keep you interested throughout the whole show.
Pretty Little Liars is a teen drama filled with mystery and thrills. The girls go on many adventures to figure out the person behind all the threatening and creepy messages they have been getting. This mysterious figure seems to know everything about them as if he/she has been watching them. The girls start gathering clues and information and try to put the pieces together. The directors did an outstanding job of keeping who “A” is from us. For the first couple episodes of season one, they had me thinking that Alison wasn’t really dead and she was “A.” But as the show went on, I had a different idea of who it could be after every...
