WRITING SCHEDULE FOR COMPOSITIONS
PROGRAMA DE ESCRITURA DE LAS COMPOSICIONES
We must cover SIX lessons in AVENTURAS; for lessons two to six, students will be required to write compositions about the subject matter of each lesson. Since the time is limited, students are required to only write TWO of the five scheduled compositions. You will find detailed requirements for each composition, below.
Each student is responsible for choosing the compositions he or she will write, first. You can choose for the first composition, the ones corresponding to either lesson two or three.
If you choose lesson two, you must choose the second compositions from lessons 3, 4, 5 or 6. If you choose as your first composition the one for lesson 3, you must choose the second composition from lessons 4, 5 and 6. Lesson 2 is not alternative for those choosing lesson 3 as their first composition.
A sensible recommendation is that each student hand in the required work on the due dates or earlier NONE WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE DEADLINE AT MIDNIGHT OF THE DATE SET FOR THE INSTRUCTOR TO RECEIVE THE COMPOSITION.
MICROSOFT WORD is the only word processor you must use. Works or WordPerfect are not a choice. If you type in any of the two latter word processors, you must save your documents in RTF (Rich Text Format).
Compositions must be sent in BOTH in an attachment via E-MAIL and submit the composition in the ASSIGNMENT section of BLACKBOARD. Do not type the composition in the body of the e-mail! IT WILL NOT BE ACKNOWLEDGED AS RECEIVED OR CORRECTED. Type it and save it in a file in Microsoft WORD.
NAMES OF FILES: The files should be named according to the LESSON NUMBER as follows. Include first your LAST NAME, First Name COMPO 2, or 3, 4, 5, or 6. The corrected version must be saved as LAST NAME, First Name COMPO 2B, or 3B, 4B, 5B, or 6B. Follow the example for Joe or Jane...
