Unique Egyptian Society
The ancient Egyptian civilization lasted almost 3000 years and is considered one of the greatest in history. There are many different theories concerning the origin of ancient Egypt, including Black-African, multi-cultural, and unique. Egypt was its own society and came from neither Black-African nor multi-cultural origins. It was indeed a unique society that had its own way of living and created its own culture. Egyptian culture came from a unique origin because they created and developed hieroglyphics, as well as their own religion.
One of the reasons ancient Egypt is considered a unique society is because of their invention of hieroglyphics. The Egyptians invented hieroglyphics, a picture form of writing, for their language. They invented hieroglyphics and did not adopt any other form of writing from another culture. They created their own unique language for themselves. This is one piece of evidence to support that Egypt comes from a unique culture.
The second reason that supports Egypt coming from a unique origin is that they developed their own religion. They discovered that the desert naturally preserved bodies, so they began mummifying them. Mummification was a process of embalming a dead body to preserve it. They would mummify the bodies and then put them inside giant tombs called pyramids. The largest pyramid covered 13 acres of land and contained over two million blocks of stone. In conclusion, Egyptian culture came from a unique origin because they created hieroglyphics and had their own religion.
