Gabrielle Bonheur “Coco” Chanel was born on August 19, 1883. She was a second daughter of travelling salesman Albert Chanel and Jeanne Devolle in a tiny city of Saumur, France. CoCo was a fashion designer and a founder of the chanel brand. Her design aesthetic was realized in jewelry, handbags and fragrance. Her contribution inside the development of fashion can hardly be underestimated. She was the only individual from the field of fashion type to be named on TME Magazine’s 100 Most Influential Men and women of the 20th Century. She gained a public approval and reputation which created her name probably the most recognizable inside fashion world.
Her household was very poor. When she was twelve, her mother and her father could not stay in the kids all of the time. When the World War 1 started, Coco Chanel was not discouraged and carried on her professional jobs and designing became an essential part of her life.
