What is a world view?

  A world view is your philosophy. It is simply how you see your world. There are a lot of lenses through which you look including religion, parents, education, peers, etc. All these lenses have influence on your philosophy of life or your world view. According to Chuck Colson and Nancy Pearcey in their book, How Now Shall We Live, describe world view as "the sum total of our beliefs about the world. The 'big picture'   that directs our daily decisions and actions."

“How Did Life Begin? How Did Mankind Come Into Existence?”

    According to the biblical and Christian world view life began with God being the Creator of the universe, including humans.(Genesis 1:26-27, 2:7, 5:1-2) Most Christian churches teach that God is triune and all three Persons of the Godhead were involved in the creation of the universe and mankind.

 

“ What Does It Mean To Be Human? Are Humans More Important Than Animals?”

  To be human means to serve God by taking care of his creations; animals and Earth. (Genesis 2:15) In Christianity, God created mankind above the animal, and man was created, "a little lower than the angels" (Psalm 8:5) With that said, Christians should do all they can do to protect God's animals and our environment.

    The purpose of mankind, according to John 17:3,is "that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent." I exsist because God made me to have a close and personal relationship with Him through His Son Jesus Christ.   I am here to live up to his potentials so that way one day I can be by his side in Heaven.
